Why Choose Princeton Stars Driving School for Driver Lessons?
Our online training program is a convenient and effective way for teenagers to learn how to drive and meet the state requirements for their learner’s permit. You have the flexibility to complete the course at your own speed, alternating between online learning and practicing driving with a parent. Once you have completed the first six hours of instruction, you can take the online learner’s permit exam that is included in the program and apply for your permit. This program not only helps students learn about driving safety but also ensures that they have qualified adult supervision during their practice driving hours.
Target Audiences
Teenagers aged 14 and older
In Texas, teenagers who are at least 14 years old can start a program to prepare for the written knowledge lessons needed to get a learner’s permit at age 15.
Families Interested in a Flexible Education Approach
Instead of traditional classroom-based driver education, online programs provide a flexible alternative. Families who prefer a more hands-on approach to teaching their teenagers how to drive often choose this option.
Cost-Efficiency
Online programs can be cost-effective because you only need to purchase a program guide instead of paying for traditional driving school classes.
Convenient Option
Online programs offer greater convenience in scheduling driving lessons and classroom instruction. You can do them at home and choose a schedule that suits your family.
Requirements
- Age Requirement: Students must be at least 14 years old in order to enroll in a Texas Driver lessons course.
- Learner’s Permit Eligibility: Teens in Texas may begin Driver Education classes at age 14, but they cannot apply for a learner’s permit, which is the same as a learner’s license, until they are fifteen years old. - Complete the Course Requirements: In order for the teen to pass the course, they must fulfill the prerequisites that must be met in class.
- Get a Learner’s Permit: After completing the course’s classroom component and meeting additional requirements, such as passing a written knowledge exam, the teenager may proceed to apply for a learner’s permit.
- Practice Driving: Now that the teen has a learner’s permit, they can drive under the supervision of an adult driver who is at least 21 years old.
- Go for a Provisional Driver’s license: The teen can apply for a provisional driver’s license after completing the program and fulfilling all requirements.
