Driving Licence

To participate in your first training session, you must have a valid driving license – provisional, complete, or international. You must be healthy and meet all legal and medical requirements to drive.

The Driving Instructor

Your driving instructors are independent, self-employed franchisees of the Princeton Stars Driving School.

All students must be prepared to begin their lesson 15 minutes before the scheduled time. If you fail to show up at the agreed time, your instructor will wait 10 minutes and may deduct this time from your lesson. If you arrive after this time, your instructor may choose not to proceed with the class, and it will charge you a cancellation fee.

Standard Lesson Cancellations

To avoid being charged the full lesson fee, you must cancel the lesson at least 48 hours before the scheduled lesson time. However, we may waive this policy if you can provide a doctor’s certificate. On the other hand, your instructor may cancel a lesson at short notice if they suspect that you are unfit to drive due to alcohol, drugs, or any other condition that would make your driving illegal.

In this case, it will still charge you for the lesson. Additionally, your instructor may postpone classes due to dangerous weather conditions, mechanical issues, or illness. If you have paid any fees in advance and your lesson is canceled for any reason, rest assured that your payment will be carried over to your next class. This means you will keep your money and use it for your next session.

Payment Conditions

We hold the money you pay to the company on behalf of the driving instructor until you finish the lesson.

  • Unless you agree with the instructor, you need to pay for each lesson at the beginning. If the instructor gives you a lesson before you’ve paid the full fee, any remaining amount becomes a debt that you must pay immediately upon request.
  • You can pay in cash, through our website using a secure online portal (additional fees may apply), or by direct deposit to the Princeton Stars Driving School bank account.
  • When scheduling a lesson, you must be at least 18 or have parental consent. You must also ensure you have the authorization and capability to make payment. Verify all information provided during booking, including name, address, and contact details.
  • If you don’t complete all the lessons in your package, the price for each class will go back to the standard rate. Learn to Lone Driving School may charge an administration fee, which will be deducted from any refund. You must submit a written request through our website’s contact form to request a refund.

Using Your Vehicle

The affiliated driving instructor can decide whether a driving lesson can be conducted in your vehicle. You have to ensure that your car meets the following requirements:

  • Your vehicle must have current and valid registration and insurance. It would be best to guarantee that your car’s registration is up-to-date and accurate. It is important to note that driving an unregistered vehicle is illegal.
  • You must inform your insurance company in writing (Before the driving lesson) that your driving instructor will use your car to provide you with driving lessons.
  • The tires must be inflated correctly (air pressure must meet the minimum manufacturer’s requirements).
  • The seats and seat belts must be in good working condition.
  • The brake and blinker lights are working according to the specifications set by the manufacturer.
  • There are no cracks or damages present on the windscreen.
